To support this objective, BRPI participates in the CrossMark initiative, a service provided by Crossref that enables verification of the current status of published works and provides access to any associated updates, corrections, or retractions in a standardized and accessible manner.

Purpose of CrossMark

CrossMark serves as a trusted mechanism for communicating the authenticity and currency of scholarly content. It allows readers to determine with confidence whether a publication represents the definitive version of the work or whether updates, corrections, or additional information have been issued post-publication. Implementation Across BRPI Publications

The CrossMark icon is displayed prominently on both HTML and PDF versions of all BRPI publications.
